Work Overseas
Therefore go and make disciples of all of the nations - Matthew 28:19
Telling others about the good news of Jesus is not limited by geography or country. Jesus gave us an exciting mission, to preach the gospel across the whole earth and all nations. Ever since its foundation, Esher Green has been very active in supporting worldwide mission.
Find out about some of the work the church is actively supporting across the world ......
Pakistan
Teaching and Development Work
Two of our church members are full time workers in Pakistan, language teaching and assisting in development projects. They are currently back in the UK for a year but will be returning in 2009. Matt worked with other volunteers in the aftermath of the earthquake across northern Pakistan in 2005.
Pakistan is the third largest Muslim country in the world, but also has a significant Christian minority. To find out more about Pakistan and the work we support in that country please contact James Griffin via the church office.
Nepal
International Nepal Fellowship
Esher Green has supported the work of the INF for many years. Since 1952 the INF has been pioneering Christian health & development mission. Besides bringing physical healing in TB, leprosy and in bettering those with disabilities, INF works in support of growing Christian charitries, often in remote areas. INF increasingly works in countries where ex-pat Nepali communities live, from S Asia and Australia, to the UK and Europe.

Other areas of support:
- Uganda - supporting the Cobham Uganda Partnership in helping to establish a clinic in Gulu in northern Uganda
- Romania - for many years Esher Green had a link church in the town of Roman
- Hungary & Albania - supporting local Christians and missionaries to spread the good news
Esher Green actively supports and encourages short and long term mission across the world. Many of our members have been involved in this work over the last 25 years.
