Through a Glass Darkly (Journeys through Science, Faith & Doubt) by Alister McGrath

Alister McGrath is the Andreas Idreos Professor of Science and Religion at Oxford University, and Fellow of Harris Manchester College, Oxford . . . so basically, he is a clever guy! The book tracks his journey to faith from initial academic work in the natural sciences and how in turn this led him to establish and explore the links between faith and science through the study of theology and intellectual history.

From being an atheist with strong objections to the Christian faith the book tracks his journey of discovery through science to being a believer in Jesus. It is a great read for those that are sceptical to the Christian faith from a scientific perspective, those with little scientific understanding, and also some great insights in establishing how science and faith are compatible. So why not read it yourself and see how a man with a truly brilliant mind that is opposed to God, makes his journey through the study of natural sciences to see the wonder of our creator God!
