To Fret or not to Fret by Grant Everson

Essentially this book of prayers was written to help and to kick-start prayers or praying. One can easily find prayers for any occasion but there is a joy and honesty about cultivating one’s own which comes from a place deep inside of us. And my intention was or is to enable readers to go on a journey of learning or increasing the way we pray. Difficult to write a review of one’s own writing but this is a comment made by someone who purchased a copy via Amazon.

“It’s so refreshing to find a book that has been written in a way that makes prayer simple. Sometimes prayers can sound quite elaborate when other people say them, like there is a whole heap of holy words that need to be used. This book has some lovely thoughtful prayers but without using words that you might not relate to if you are new to praying. It reinforces the fact that we can just be ourselves when we pray and just say what is on our hearts. I love that there is also encouragement to write in the book because I feel like the prayers have inspired me so this will become a very personal book for me when I write in it and decorate it with drawings.”
